cPanel/DirectAdmin

Wuppie
If I wanna create a webhost here, I get the question which server I choose. I can only choose server 1 at the moment, which has cPanel. The other 2 have directadmin. I know a bit about DirectAdmin, but what does cPanel have to offer?

cPanel is the most used control panel. It has the most features, but this is also the disadvantage because this means a lot of options and sometimes also bugs. Normally though, it's just a matter of taste of which one you prefer and both provide much more than you need for one or more websites.

Here is live demos of both control panels and you can see the difference.

Direct Admin

Note: Some feature may be in the demos and not in Frihost control panels.

Thanks. The directadmin demo worked, but how to login at the cpanel demo?

Try this - http://x3demob.cpx3demo.com:2082/login/?user=x3demob&pass=x3demob

If you're unable to access the above - http://cpanel.demo.cpanel.net/login/?user=x3demob&pass=x3demob

Depending on the plugins installed on the demo server, the featureset might be slightly different from the one at FRIHost. (e.g., the demo doesn't have Fantastico, an autoinstaller for many popular scripts, which is available on FRIHost)
