How Long can the cord from your computer to a LCD display be

I want to get my computers and their noise as far away from me as possible. How can I best do this.

Depends if you're referring to VGA or DVI.

Off the top of my head, VGA shouldn't go any longer than 10 meters. You can often reach 15 meters and beyond, but 10 is the highest you should go without the use of a booster. The quality of the cable is also a factor.

DVI should be able to go a little bit longer.

A long cable might not really be the best answer. I could get an iPhone and watch movies with WiFi
