427 frih$ to convert multiple GIF's into 1 animated GIF

ocalhoun
I've made 7 GIF images that need to be combined into one animated image.
These are the images:

They need to fade into each other. You can use this one in between each of the other ones:

Yes, it should fade to blank, then to the next one.

It should be a slow transition, and each one should stay there for a moment before fading out and then fading into the next one.

Try to make the transitions gradual, but also try to keep the file size reasonable, as it will be displayed on the web.

Above all, it should not have jumpy transitions or quick, annoying movement!

They are already in the order I want them to appear in, and the file names reflect that order (b1,b2,b3 et cetera...)

I'm giving 427 frih$ for the finished GIF.

working on it Wink

PM'ed.

Only 61kb Wink

Sorry for the order, if needed I could modify it!

Just an idea.... If you wish to display a version on your own site, you could have a small image on the left (your different animals animating) and then the rest of the banner on the right (static). Just a thought though, and only really relevant if the filesize is too large and its on your site.

EDIT: Well if Urban can get 61KB, ignore what I said above Razz

I have managed to do it in a 32kb Gif file. Have forwarded it to the e-mail address posted on your profile.

Let me know whether it is OK for you. Possibly when you upload it it may be slower than when I was working on it. So if it is what you want, I can adjust the speed to either slower or faster as you wish.

Well, you see... The image is put in place with a width=100% attribute, so no matter what size the browser window is, it always fills up the top of the screen, but is not stretched. Unfortunately, this will not work with two images, because the hight of the image must change in proportion to the width.

@ deanhills: Sorry, but it needs to fade in between each image, not just blink in and out.

@ Urban:
You did very well, with the best balance between speed and file size, but it is a little too fast. Though the alternative will take a long time to load, it won't look bad while it is loading, so that is tolerable.
I'm sorry if it seems like I'm changing the rules at the end of the game, but Gushe's gif seems more elegant and less distracting.

@ Gushe:

Though it has a large file size, your image looks the best after it is finished loading, and even while it is loading it still shows whichever frame is loading, so it simply looks like an extremely slow animation until it finishes loading. I've decided that yours would be the best option to use with the equine dream's new homepage. Thank you.

@ everyone else:
Please no more submissions! I have what I need, I'm sending payment for it already, and I've already turned down more people than I would like to.

Well done Gushe! Looks awesome!
