l like physics.
Do you? lol l HATE chemistry though, gets dull. Now that's weird.
Anyways, who's your physicist hero? Telsa for me.
I like the theory side of physics. I enjoy deriving all of the equations and doing the mathematics behind it. I don't like the experimentation nearly as much. That's probably a consequence of studying math too much.
Please don't develop a hate mentality to anything, especially sciences. If you do so, you are losing all the positive aspects of the subject and you are wise enough not to take any negatives.
I like physics, chemistry, biology and each and every thing that can help humanity... But my profession is a a medical microbiologist...
I didn't like chemistry when I was at school, but I think that was due to my chemistry teacher. The same goes for biology. My knowledge of those subjects is now sadly lacking and I have trouble learning them as I don't have the basic knowledge to build on.
Physics, on the other hand, is a totally different matter. I'm a member of one of the most revered science sites on the web and, although I'm only a layman, I regularly get involved in discussions on Relativity, QM and the like. I've even been known to answer the occasional question posted by other people.

But chemistry is just a branch of physics...
After all, "All science is either physics or stamp collecting."

that's what Ernest Rutherford said but I have to add something to that! Science is just mathematics and physics or stump collecting"
I love physics and mathematics. I'm more into the general theory of relativity! It's really elegant and powerful and I like the quantum field theory but it lacks some certain things just like super symmetric particles...
Hai all
In physics my hero is Sir Issac Newton, Who give the fundamental theories and lay down the
basis of mechanics....not only that ...he predicted that light consists of elastic bounsing
tiney partices...quantam theary ..long years after ...was on the same meaning...
he is our hero and he is having a good to story of apple to innovative thinking

Be careful with that satement. Light isn't a bunch of particles. A photon is an excitation of the light field, similar to a vibrating string (no string theory, think of a guitar). The (quantisized!) natural frequencys of a guitar string are very much the same as a photon. If you know about some elementary analysis (Gaussian Integral ...) and the Hamiltonian and Lagrangian formalism in classical mechanics, I'd recommend you A. Zee's book "quantum field theory in a nutshell", just the first few chapters. He'll give you an idea how to interpret the term "particle".
And Newton had absolutely no idea about that. All he got was a theory that proved to be partialle right. Lucky (not educated) guess, so to say.
I like how physics puts much math into use. Also, you can visualize math better using physics. A mutualistic symbiotic relationship.
I particularly like super string theory. The idea of all reality as a giant symphony appeals to the poet in me.
i love physics. i am taking this great class at LACC and the teacher is great. hes better than my regular school teacher at this medical magnet. i am barely like on chapter 7 and everything is math. but i love math and chem. and im asian so i guess that kinda explains it... :3

I admire people who have the aptitude for physics and mathematics. They have to be specially gifted for sure.
.
Physics is the reason of our practical instruments, but let me tell you something the real reason
for development is mathmatics you see a single formula could be an entire concept in physics
Like Guasses law it's based on one integral in mathematics.
I like both the theoritical part and the Practical part of Physics but i am inclined to Practical part because it really teases your brain a lot.
I believe every thing can be explained through physics. physics is like another god, lol. I do dislike chemistry although I have taking two years of it, it isn't fun to me at least.
its all about sir issac newton.chem is terrible dull and pointless
^^Are you joking? Chemistry is pointless? Without chemistry, we wouldn't even understand the composition and properties of matter, which makes up EVERYTHING. Chemistry is just as important as physics.
