Website security.

RightousIndignation
Does maintaining a website put one at an increased security risk of getting hacked? I haven't built one yet but suspect that the "host" mitigates that risk. Would that be correct?

I really don't get your question Confused Are you saying if you have a website you'll be a target?
If a server it's correctly configured the risk of (the site) being hacked is diminished. And not everyone will be a target, only the "interesting" will be.
It's not a really thing to be worried to much Wink
