BSOD when watching videos in Windows XP

LostOverThere
Hi,

I've currently got a problem whenever I watch videos in Windows XP in either Winamp, or Windows Media Player I get the Blue Screen Of Death instantly. However, if I watch videos in VLC (in OpenGL) it works. I suspect it's a driver issue, but I've tried countless drivers and all do the same thing. The default driver, the one Windows recommends, heaps of Nvidia's drivers, and some other. I might note that its an NVidia Geforce 8500GT.

Thanks in advance,

Try new/different codecs.
This may have nothing to do with the problem, but it's worth a try Wink
