But I think which is with every language schwirig to learn them. This is fine with all things in such a way. But luckily there are the Internet sites which help one in the translations.

The biggest problem for German are that all the media is lipsynched, so they learn English at a much poorer rate than most other people in world. But even for Dutch, German is quite difficult even though it's a lot similar.
tdossi
Yes, unfortunately. In Germany, everything is synchronized. This is in Sweden or Norway differently. Since the films in original language. This is ideal for learning English.
German and Dutch is similar. Germans and Dutch are among themselves.

Nope, I'm Dutch and we don't lipsych anything. Not even child shows for kids older than 5 or so. After that they just have to learn English. Here, you get Dutch, German, French and English on school. Standard package. I also had Frisian, Old Greece and Latin as extra's. . There are also BIG differences in thinking habits, which became clear when I went to Germany to life with a family for two weeks near Frankfurt.
But the language is indeed very similar, since Dutch can understand a lot of German even if they didn't had German at school yet. But the same things is for Romanian and Italian, so don't expect toooooo much. Wink
