Help!
Have anyone of you experience in installing drivers on ubuntu?
I am in possession of a HP Compaq 6715b computer, and am trying to get the wlan card to work in Ubuntu, but I can't (I am sort of Linux n00b then...).
I have tried to install ndiswrapper and then the right windows drivers, but
- Ubuntu registers the card if I type lspci, but it doesn't show up under network properties
- It also seems that Ubuntu prefers to use a "standard" driver instead of the right one. And I don't know how to set which driver is to be used.
I use the new Ubuntu 8.04.
