Accessing Remote Databases

polly-gone
Okay, so lets say that I am hosting a website on Server X, but a database I need to access is on Server Y. What command would I use to access Server Y, since I just can't say 'localhost' is the location of the server.

Use the IP of the server. On that server you'll also need to allow remote connections though. If you intend to do this on Frihost;
