It seems like for something similar to goal.com, you would need lots of scripts in a pretty complex system. I mean, the login/registration script on one of my websites has 5 files.

open it in your favorite editor and just change things like clan name to Team Name or whatever the actually script is php and i suck at that so dont ask me but i can edit a php page to say what i want with dreamweaver just like you would with html
in my eyes php is just html with fancy scripts and database support for some ULTRA cool stuff

if u just take the script that you were directed towards, you can simply edit/change the scripts to display what you are looking to do. expecting someone to go out and find you the script you need is very unlikely from happening
i never worked with php much either and with some looking at tthe scripts and the results it produced i was able to alter a script from a Counter Strike based group for WarRock. A lot of the basics are really easy to get a hold of. so it shouldnt be much of a problem to tweak it as necessary.
as i said you are better off doing that or continue to search with google or something becuase the likely hood of someone being able to find what you are looking for isn't very high as YOU are the only one who knows what you want.
