How to identify what barcode is used ?

Hi, I have here some barcode-labels - is there a way to identify what kind of barcode format it is ?

A barcode is like a font: there are a lot of them but just like fonts thee are only a few regularly used. If those barcodes are from books they are most probable CodaBar. Otherwise they are either UPC, Code 128 or Code 39.
I found a website wich describes the popular barcodesystems: you can compare this description to the codes you have to find out which one you have.
