That would depend on whether you mean PC - as in the IBM original design.
I had one of the original PCs (my grandfather liberated it from his workplace - it was bust and we fixed it together).
That was in 1982. The machine was a 5Mhz basic Intel 8088 processor with 512K of memory running PC-DOS.
Before that I had several non-PC computers - a Sinclair ZX-80 (before the ZX-81), a Tandy TRS-80, an Apple-II, and a couple of BBC microcomputers....

When I was 13 my parents bought a Commodore Pet with 16K of RAM. The CPU was a 1MHz 6502 - the same CPU that powered The Terminator

LOL...you must have rich parents J. I came across a Pet on my degree course in 1979 - it was the only microcomputer in Coventry Poly's engineering faculty at the time...about a grand I seem to remember...

The first PC I saw was some Dell PC with Windows 95 on it that my dad bought late 1996 I believe. I think it had something like 16 megs of RAM or so, so probably comparable to RedFalcon2631's PC.

When we first played with Windows 95 we got a 200Mhz system that was very very slow. My first system that I build 9 years or so ago is really slow PIII 800Mhz, Geforce 4, but is still in use, and my little sister plays the Sims on it.

I had a Compaq PC with Windows 95, I think it was upgraded to 96MB Ram. It was real slow, plus I used AOL Laughing
FunDa
16 MB RAM with Windows 95.

Later upgraded to Windows 98. Not sure if we upgraded the RAM to 32 MB yet, but it still works. Word processing at the office and printing out cash receipts.
