Huge news in electronics - The Memristor

A new component developed by HP labs joins the basic component family (resistor, capacitor and inductor) - the memristor.

What they have is supposed to be more of a RRAM, not a Memristor (according to Wikipedia so take that with a grain of salt), and it is slightly impractical since it needs both DC and AC to work properly.

Well, I don't think you can claim such things. Neither can I claim anything yet.
This is still a very new technology, and needs further reasearch, but I guess we'll see what this little thing can do in the very near future.
