when you ping the site, does it say request time out or cannot fine server ?
If its says cannot find, there could be some problem with your DNS server which is not able to resolve the site in to ip. IN this situation u can try to use open dns server such as 4.2.2.1 and repair the connection by right clicking on network adapter to flush the old dns. Hopefully this will work
why on earth do u need to get support for anyways! i'm curious. get yourself another browser. firefox is a great one... but then again, microsoft support site might not work with firefox.

Not MS Support site down, but my browser's problem.

I might have saved them and would like to disable them.
Help, before I do more drastic measure to re-install the browser.
Same problem with my Firefox browser. Strange, I suspect maybe
by proxy server (filtering of unwanted sites).
