Am I the only one who gets a chuckle out of seeing that most Christians, fundamentalists especially, communicate through 'netspeak'? They're always trying to put Atheists down, saying that it's 'dumb' to not believe in God, and yet, in doing so they have no problems denoting their own inferior intelligence.
It doesn't really take much thought to see the flaws in such an argument. Although, to be fair, Christians are raised from birth to avoid free thought at any costs, so I can't expect them to think anyway.
Here's a nice little example. It's an excerpt from a conversation I had with a fundie a while back:
Intelligence, eh? I'm not seeing it. :/ And these are the people that get into Heaven? I'd much prefer the damnation over being surrounded with imbeciles, thanks.
Dunno, just thought I'd share one or two of my insights.

Eh, no, I don't. "y not" Because I haven't seen enough evidence favouring his existence. :/ "us" What? "were evidense of God w/o Him ther wud b no inteligent life" [At this point my head was flooding with clever snaps, I couldn't resist.] Judging by your linguistics I'd say He didn't create a darned thing. "wut do u meen" Well, think about it. You're arguing that intelligence is the proof of God's existence, and you're doing so in a horribly unintelligent manner. "im not horible" |
