I'm polish. My english is on middle level. But I want know, do you now something about polish writers ???

I mostly read English and American writers, as English is my second language. I don't know any Polish writers or have attempted to read any Polish writing as I can't read Polish, but if you can link me to a Polish writer with his/her work translated to English maybe I'll give it a try.
I have never heard of him.. What kind of books does he write and do they get translated?
