Do You think we(Human) can construct an engine that can go various Time like 2050, 2055 etc

I'm no string-theorist but I'd be sceptical. Given human nature, if we ever did invent it then we'd have changed so many things (probably for the worse) and we'd have some crackpot from the future running the planet... and we have enough crackpots of our own time who seem to be in charge

Well, 'simple' relativity would do the job for forward motion in time. Just accelerate someone up to a fair percentage of c and let them 'coast' for a year or two (subjective local time)...

That doesn't really 'transport' us though - merely allows us to make the journey with less subjective passing of time - and is still a long way off with current engine technology and so by the time we develop it we'll already be at 2050:)
