cpanel without using port 2083 ?

czc587
Is there a way to get to cpanel without using port 2083 ? I get the following message when i try to connect from the office:

Quote:
Access Denied (connect_method_denied)

Your request attempted a CONNECT to a port "2083" that is not permitted by default.
This is typically caused by an HTTPS URL that uses a port other then the default of 443.

you can try using http://host.frihost.net:2082/

If all else fails, there might be a solution yet, but seems it's not currently installed (a proxy for cpanel, making it use port 80. Not as secure as normal access, but works)

Depending on your office firewall configuration, it may very well work on 2082 (although I would have closed that door too)
