Another problem with posting

I got my news script to work. Whoo. But I have a problem with it.

Wherever I type an apostrophe, theres a / in front of it. Is there a way to stop it from doing that?

Can you post more details? Where are you typing apostrophe? Are you saving it somewhere (like in a mysql db)? When do you get / in front of it? or is it \?

I think your problem is comming out because magic_quotes_gpc is seted on what automaticaly include slashes on user input.
