what do you need for a professional webpage

hello,

i want to make a professional webpage with forums, newsgroups, pictures,
and an interaction with the user who is on the page at the moment. I have
knowledge and experience in HTML, but i would learn more methodes like
ccs and other to get the above functionalities. What other languages and
methodes do i have to learn to make a webpage like the above.

Javascript can be useful but not necessarily. PHP is a good scripting language that runs on the server side. Good to handle user input and to make a dynamic site. To store the data it's good to use a database. Therefore learning writing SQL queries is recommended.

yes, i agree with webmike

if you want your page to look flashy, work on css, if you want it to be interactive then you will need to learn php, as well as working with databases. Php can take a long time to learn though, so if you just want forums, you can download phpbb forums (free to use, edit, sell etc.).
