They almost look too much like plastic and not enough like the metals and gems. I'm not sure if that is because of the environment they are in or because of the materials themselves.

I think you're right, the environment is probably too strong... :S I've tried hard to make it look realistic but it is really really hard. Thanks for the comment. Smile
