w3schools -- Learn about coding
http://www.w3schools.com/
It's indeed a good resource for learning many different coding languages.
yes its my favourite site for coding.
Another good one is tizag though.
I like the basic setup of w3schools though, it is very easy to follow in comparison to others.
^I didn't know tizag... I entered there and it has much content, but I still preferer W3Schools.
Thanks for this link. I'm checking now the CSS section
w3schools is a great site! I used it a lot when I learned about HTML and CSS. I still use it for reference. They also have a great "try out"-form where you can test out different codes (probably not server side code like php or similar) and see the result at once!
W3Schools is my favourite for HTML and CSS in particular, but anything else it can throw up at me from a Google Search! In fact, whenever I need help with something in a language like HTML or CSS, I'll Google for what I'm looking for and W3Schools will nearly always be the first result with my answers!!
I also like using Tizag for PHP
- It's really well written and has good examples
I learned a lot from the w3schools site. It's an excellent resource for beginners, and a great reference tool for the more experienced.
Hi,
It's my one of the favourate site, which i used 3 years back.
w3schools is amazing. I use it as a reference all the time when I forget a CSS tag.

Old and still very very good site
I used it when I studied html by myself and I must say that it helped me a lot.

It's just for (X)HTML and CSS.
I like that tool.
An excellent website for learning webdesign languages. I find the javascript cheatsheet to be highly useful. I solemly swear that I am innocent.

W3Schools is great way to brush up on my coding skills. I always use it to check how to use XHTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. I think the validators I use are connected with the site as well.
I actually learnt all the web languages I know today from w3school and tizag, from XHTML to PHP. When I was done there I finally went out and got books and found that I only needed to brush through about half the pages.
