Joomla 1.5 = customizing footer text

ciboss
I'm working on a new website based on joomla's new version 1.5 and using a free template of Joomlashack named Jamba.
It looks all very nice but I have still some questions about adapting and customizing some parts of the template, for instance
how can I change the text in the footer?
Does anybody has already experience with that?
Thanks for your reply.

The template is basically just a PHP file. You can edit it either through the administrator backend (extensions -> template manager) or go to the file directly (Joomla root/templates/template name/index.php.

To edit the footer, just look near the end of the file. Sometimes the footer is in another file depending on the template. In that case it might be linked to the default footer.php (Joomla root/includes/footer.php).
