2Wire 2700HG-D Query

Craeft
So here I am...

Still trying to tweak our local network. I have a 2Wire 2700HG-D that works great as a switch, allowing us to ignore the DSL side of it. What we're trying to do is one or all of the following:

• Attach an external antenna by soldering to the external antenna connector inside the box
~~ Problem is there are three antennas and we can't find specs to explain which is which.
~~ IN fact, there are TWO RF boards!
• Allow for full diversity to allow to set up the router as a WiFi bridge or repeater (either will work for our purposes)
• Flash it with DD-WRT

The router is an incredible 400mW that we would like to take advantage of since it is now just collecting dust elsewise.

Does anyone have any information that would help us out with any and/or all of the above? We managed to set up a Linksys with the external antenna (got around their proprietary connector BS with a bit of solder).
But it's not powerful enough

We set up a Buffalo with the tertiary option, but it's not doing what we want and it can't be diversified.
