Bulk file upload

Hi,

I am looking for a way to allow my users to upload several files at once without requiring them to select every single file individually. In other words I need a way for them to select several files at once from their hard disk and then only press upload to upload all of the files.

I have not found a javascript solution to this but a Flash application should be able to do this. I have been looking at this: http://www.element-it.com/DemoMultiPOW.aspx

However, as my file is behind a login (on a Windows server with ASP) their script doesn't work.

Any ideas how to implement multiple file uploading?

Just to affirm, I don't think you can do it in JavaScript unless you can use JavaScript to read the directory contents of a certain directory that the user points to. You can then present a selection box (which allows multiple selections, of course) to the user. However, I don't think that the end result and user experience can compare to a similar app implemented in Flash or as a Java applet.
