Is there a software to get screen prints from a DVD movie ? or anyother way to get a screen print ? Print screen button is no use for this.

Does VLC let you play DVDs ? I'm looking for a tool to capture DVD screen prints. Also it would be cool to know if there any free DVD cutter tools.
I tried to capture stills from movies from winamp. Its works fine for me. But it is from vcd. I don't know whether winamp supports dvd format.

Niether i do think winAmp do it. I think is only for VCDs

Yes you can play DVD:s in VLC. At least it works for me.
It worked ! easy too. I wonder it let you cut DVD clips too ?

If you go into Settings -> Bookmarks. Add two bookmarks and push Extract. And you can save it to file. I haven't used this before but it worked somewhat for me when I tested.
everything worked fine till i clicked extract button. But im unable to find where they save the files.
did you change to Transcode/Save to file? (instaed of Stream to network) In the end you can choose where to but the file.
Try Media Player Classic (MPC). File->Save as image. It also generates thumbnail from whole movie (image preview).

Yes I did change to " Transcode/Save to file ". at end it shows a text box asking a file name , i don't get that part.
Did you noticed that they didn't add an file extension automatically so it will not get a video icon. Maybe that is why you didn't find it.

Adobe Aftereffects, or FinalCut (Apple) you can do this whit this Green or Blue Screen
