Cpanel Question. Very serious.

Guelila
I tried to upload a file from the file manager.
I pressed upload and browed and found my item.
After I clicked it, it redirected me back to the file manager home.
I never found what I uploaded.

After, I read the cPanel Tutorial up there and I tried uploading again from public_html, as it told me to.
I pressed upload and browed and found my item.
After I clicked it, it redirected me back to the file manager home.
I never found what I uploaded.

by the way, the file is 9kb.

Anyone please help me how to upload files..

did you click the name "public_html" or did you click the folder icon next to it? with file manager, to change properties of a folder you click on the name, to browse the folder you click the folder icon next to it... so if you click the name you are still in the same place, not in public_html.... you should know your in public_html cause all the folders you see will change and you wont see the public_ftp, the main, the public_html, www, etc folders.... if you did it right, you shoud (if you havnt really done much to your site) see an images folder, and a few other folders with _'s in their names.. like _private...

also near the top you should see "/ public_html / (Current Folder)"

once your definatly in the public_html folder, then click the upload files

have you tried uploading with a ftp program?

you connect to frihost.net on port 21 with your username and password...

also you are complaining about not being able to visit your subdomain, which i checked, and im not getting to either... could be something up with both of them...

You can download and use a ftp agent to upload files, here's the link for filezilla ftp agent

http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

or else one simple way is to use the explorer ftp, just type in following address to acess your folders

ftp://username:password@frihost.net

Note : Replace username and password with your cpanel username and password.
