Hi, I registered a .tv domain recently, and i pointed its Nameservers to NS1.FRIH.NET and NS2.FRIH.NET but it's been three days and I still see the parked page. Does frihost support .tv?
Those nameservers work for my other .org .net and .com domains by the way.
thanks,
JC
Have you transfered or pointed the DNS addresses correctly? .tv domains should work exactly as any other domain name...
well i pointed the nameservers the same way with my other domains... except this one doesn't recognize them or something. This is my first TV domain. Do they require special config?

I don't believe that's the case.
A nameserver should be able to "support" any domain.
It could also just be your local/ISP DNS cache.
What nameservers does a "whois" query on your domain return ?
Try the DNS lookup tools here or here.
here's my whois results...
[Querying whois.tv]
[whois.tv: Name or service not known]
[Unable to connect to remote host]

I'm afraid the DNS tools on that site are incapable of performing whois on .TV domains.
Try this instead - http://www.who.is/
Registrar: GODADDY.COM, INC.
Whois Server: whois.godaddy.com
Referral URL: http://registrar.godaddy.com
Name Server: NS1.FRIH.NET
Name Server: NS2.FRIH.NET
Status: CLIENT-RENEW-PROHIBITED
Status: CLIENT-XFER-PROHIBITED
Status: CLIENT-UPDATE-PROHIBITED
Status: CLIENT-DELETE-PROHIBITED
Updated Date: 18-apr-2008
Creation Date: 17-apr-2008
Expiration Date: 17-apr-2009

Well, that's it then !
If you've also added your domain in DirectAdmin, if should be working.
edit - I just checked and your domain is indeed working just fine.
If you're not able to access it, it could be a DNS caching problem - try accessing your site using a different connection/proxy.
Oh sweet thanks man
EDIT: I checked it with cantstopit.info, and it works you're right... I wonder why mine wont work. I've tried it on about five different computers in my neighborhood. We're all using the same provider though. Also, i can access other .tv domains just fine. Maybe it needs a little more time to "set in"? Well thanks a bunch for all the help!
