Hello dear pizza lovers.
Want to make a damn good pizza but also waste about 5 bucks?
Well i just made that few minutes ago and I must say that it was quite good.
I wanted a pizza today so I've constructed this recipe for the public.
(and also for me.. i might forget the process so i can look at the recipe ><)
Anyway, here you go!
Sorry for my bad arse English =P
ingredients:
for the dough
1/2 glass of water.
yeast
2 glasses of flour
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 spoon of salt
for the sauce:
1 nice tomato
garlic or onion.. do what you wish but i use only garlic
2 spoons of quality olive oil(the "cold squashed" oil is the best)
pepper and salt
paprika
let's start!
First we will make the dough.
Take the 1/2 glass of water and spill it inside a nice bowl.
Throw in the yeast and the 1/2 teaspoons of sugar and wait for about 15 minutes(mix every few minutes).
After the yeast has melted you should get a nice pale brown coloured liquid(it has to be a liquid, if it isn't - add more water until it will become a liquid).
Now, put the flour and the salt inside and start to knead nice and slow.
The more you knead the better it will be.
Now, leave the dough for about an hour so it will double it's size
-- at this point you start to make the sauce --
then take it and start to knead again(we want it to come out thin! like the italian pizza =D).
After you've done give it like half an hour to rest again.
Now take a piece of it, put some flour and put the dough on the flour.
Spill some flour onto the dough, now you just flatten it so it will be nice and thin(not too thin!).
Sauce!!!
And a cold one to.. no need to cook =D
Take the tomato and get the liqud and seeds out of it.
Then throw it into the food processor or use a simple grater to grind it well.
Now put in the paprika, pepper, salt, garlic(squashed) and the olive oil.
For now, put it away in the open air to let it dry a little bit.
-- get back to the dough --
Preparing the oven!
Turn it on and let it get heat at about 250 degess celcious for 5 minutes.
Now spill some olive oil on the plate and leave it.
Constructing the pizza!
Stretch the dough on the plate so it will fir in but also leave the edges.
Now spread the sauce, the ground cheese and some olives if you wish and roll the edges that you left earlier down.
Cook the pizza at 180 degrees celsious until you will see that it's ready.
Usualy the cheeshe will bubble and the edges of the dough(the you've rolled down) will be slightly brown.
Let it cool down for 15-10 minutes and then server with beer or coca cola.
Enjoy!
It's both good and cheap!
