Need to track song..Help Needed

Hi everybody,
I have a site which help to hear songs online. The thing is that I need to track every time a song is played. I would also need to track how many people are listening to a particular song. Is there any way to track these activities? Is it possible through Google Analytics software? If so, please explain. Waiting for your help friends...

Well you could use google analytics to do that... If you have static URLs for each song, and you place the tracking code in the song page... But I don't recommend this option, since it won't be exactly accurate.
Instead the best solution would be to record all views to that page using php for example, and a database to store them.

Try with the analytics solution first, and if it doesn't work as expected, then switch to the other way Wink
