I discovered Heinlein in grade school when I read his book "Have Spacesuit Will Travel". It was the first Science Fiction book I had ever read and I was hooked.
After that I read every SciFi book I could get my hands on, especially if it was by Heinlein. He very rarely disappointed me. Even today, at nearly 54, I can pick up "Have Spacesuit ..." read it again and have a relaxing time.
Even his book that was purposefully held for publication until after his death, "Grumbles From The Grave" I found to be interesting.
And I was pleased when they made the movie "Starship Troopers" based on his novel.
In my opinion, a great writer of Science Fiction who could write for adults as well as young people.
If you've never read Heinlein, check him out. Over the years he has remained my favorite, maybe because it was one of his SciFi books I first read.
