Have there been any recent changes (last 2 weeks) that might explain why I can not reach ns1.frih.net or ns2.frih.net from home? I am a Comcast business customer and had no trouble accessing these sites until about 1 or 2 weeks ago. I can still access both sites from my office and via my Sprint mobile card.
All three connections go through savvis.net as one of the last hops. The last IP before frih.net is 220.127.116.11.
I connected a laptop directly to my cable router - bypassing my firewall to make sure my firewall was not causing the problem. I experienced the same behavior.
Comcast business support supposedly tried a non-Comcast connection and was unable to reach these addresses. I am not overly confident in the support I was given on that call.
Is Frihost blocking my IP address? I had a friend that lives down the street who can reach ns1.frih.net without issue. He is also a Comcast customer as well. His tracert results are almost identical to mine. I had another friend in a neighboring city, also a Comcast customer try to tracert to ns1.frih.net as well. He did not have any issues either.
What else could it be?
