Heres the deal. What you do is add a link to your site and a perfered image you would like to use as a button so people can link to your site in exchange for you adding their site.

Here is an example

Its basically a link exchange, you add a little space on your site for a link on someone elses site.

how bout we post the link to where the image is hosted, so it can be updated if needed by the user ( if you have hotlinking disabled, you can just make an exception i think ) or you can just copy and paste.
also how bout the webring doenst have to be on index, just a link to a webring page on the index.
finally should we/i just put an image that links to a certain site, or the image with the link under it? ( i'm going with the second one right now )

I vote 88x31 picture size also. (though not mandated)

Definitley a nice idea...but I'm going to have to with the 88x31 button idea as well, yay for standards! Very Happy

i think a lot more people would be interested in this if it were in a higher traffic sub forum. Though i can't think of one this really fits into. Confused

I've noticed that there should soon be a frihost directory... maybe we can start a movement where everyone has that page on their site, or a link to it?
