IE again.... :(

ok, so here's what i have. My HTML tag has a background color and background image at the top of the page. Then my BODY tag has a background image positioned at the bottom of the page. This works great in firefox...there's a top background followed by a color background and at the bottom of the page there's another image background.

Only problem is......it won't work in IE....any workarounds out there? or am i going to have to work it out with divs? the problem with ie is that in the style sheet it recognizes the background image of the BODY tag and displays that, but won't display the background image of the HTML tag, although it does display the background color of the HTML tag...any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks! Very Happy

I was look in lot of HTML codes but I don't see anyone with image background for html tag. Maybe I am wrong, but my sugestion is width/hieght 100% div.

You see, you should write VALID code http://validator.w3.org/ because, when you write your 'own' code, each browser interprets it in their own way, this way Internet Explorer did a shit

Well, my code was perfectly valid I think. Anyway, that was a problem of the past and is fixed now. Thanks for the input anyway!
