Hi I downloaded the phpbb 3 and placed them in the folder as the instructions I got, yet when I try to access the install page the web page is blank.
What am I doing wrong?

Installing phpbb
Well first thing first, not to be rude; but this topic should be in

(Frihost Forum Index -> Scripting -> Website Software)
Well after you install it you should be able to access the install page like
http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/
It will auto open the install instructions.If the does not work you may not have uploaded all the necessary files. If you sure you did here is a full install documentation at phpbb.com (where you should have downloaded it from); it also has image illustration.

maybe your files are corrupted. If you are doing the things in the above post by silverdown and still get a blank page; try to upload the gz file you can download from phpbb3, upload that and unpack it on the server in your control panel (cpanel or directadmin)
silverdown, thanks for looking out. I spent a long time trying to figure out which forum to post it on. and even then I made the wrong choice
