I was just accessing my host, and it turns out I have unlimited disk space, I know this wasn't the old 250 megs. So is this just something new? Or is this a problem?

where did you see that you have unlimited space?
I think I'm experiencing a similar problem. On my cPanel, it says i've used 0.01MB of space:

although, when I click on 'Disk Usage', I get the correct amounts reported:
