Why aren't there more free contests? I'm really big on free contests that support the indie filmmaker. It's the "free to enter" contests that are rare these days and hard to find. They charge people when there are no big sponsors. 
Theres always a few good free video contests at http://www.onlinevideocontests.com/. They list video contests that are held by different companies. Some of them have really good cash value or other rewards.
