legality of herbs associated with thinking ???

yagnyavalkya
There are ever so many drugs derived from plants that have been proved to be enhancing perception
what is the legal hu8rdle with the use of these drugs
Almost all of then have other undesirable effects again unrealizable is a relative term
TO whom is the question
Can a balance be achieved with the effects of recreational drugs in the human society
Do you foresee a future where tobacco will be extinct and then all forms of alcohol too
but I bet is indeed too difficult to foresee a world devoid of Mary Jane and the similar item
I want your views on this
That meanders into the drug policy of the one of the strongest democrasies THE US
check this
There are many citizens of the United States who would argue that the current policy on drugs has failed, that a policy that postulates drug prohibition is no longer viable in this day and age and that the billions spent on drug control, particularly supply reduction and law enforcement are proof of this failure(http://www.cedro-uva.org/lib/harrison.cannabis.11.html)

mary jane is a natural herb that means you can grow it in your back garden that means the government cant make money out of it, also if mary jane was ever legal it would allow for more illegal sellers i.e if i am growing some in my back garden for "home use" that doesn't stop me from selling to friends and family for a cheaper price.
also if you do need to make a license or some form of id for having mary jane with you (i.e get registered with the medical body of the country too use marijuana) then i can still sell to those who don't have a license or sorts and again more illegal selling.
