How to get displayed in first ranks on Google?

paskall
When we search on Google, for example about "banana" , it displays all the records in an order dependin on the page click. For example if "banana.com" is the most clicked URL, then it be on the first rank. So to get ranked first we need to get more page clicks.

Of course this not the only thing we need, we need correct key words to get ranked too. If we have a website about politics, we should include all the politic terms, specially the actually popular ones, like bush, bin laden, iraq war, israel, zionism bla bla. Then wehn ppl search on this words, even tho our content is not about them directly, we will get ranked on the list and ppl may wanna take a look. Here is a little cheat, that I dont use and recommend but its popular too, you can include sexual words, you know most ppl make search about sex, thats for sure, so this may help for some traffic too, but I dont recommend. When we edit our website, there is a <keywords> tag in <head> tag, there's where we will insert our words, as most of you already know. Here are some rules we shouldnot forget, Don't include same keyword more than 5 times, search engines may take this as a sapmmer act.

Another tip for keywords, i recommend you to include different languages for special words. If you have a site about "home", include "dom, ev, beyt, bonda" etc. so when ppl make search in other countries with their own languages, you can get listed, for this you can use online dictionaries.

And your site definition must be less than 60 chars. When listed on google, there a site definiton appears and it shows just 60 chars, so make a definition according to this.

Another tip, is to make easily readable urls. For ex. "http://frihost.com/how-to-make-a-website.htm"
is an easy url for search engines. Most SE seek for the URL, then Sub URLs and then links on the website, and then keywords. So you should make easy URLs.

Another tip, change links with other sites, so when search engines search them, it finds your url there and comes to your site too. I recommend you to post your website, legally and not for spam of course, to the forumboards, and daily modified websites. Frihost.com forumboards got a link exchange topic, so you can do that there too.

Another way, is to make search on google about your site, then googlebot spider will want to search on that website if it hasnot found it yet. This is kinda spamming but its not harmful, so sit and make search about your website, 5 or more times each time .. dont spend your days there ...

Another way is to include popular links on your website, for example, adobe flash, java, shockwave, google, yahoo etc. search engines get too many search requests about these links, incidentally it may find your website too.

Another way is to make your own site ad banner and send it to a website, so ppl there see your link and click on it, googlebot and other bots, usually watch link traffics between different sites. So it can find yours.

These are some free ways to get page traffic, of course after having your own robots.txt and sitemap.xml and getting your url submitted to web search engines. I have told how to do these under this topic.

The more visits you get to your website, the more above you will get listed.

Cheers.

Nice tips, but if you don't mind me saying so, you're off on a couple of things.

Google has gotten away from using keywords in the <head> tag --for the very reason you give. It's just too easy to stuff words into <head> tag. Yahoo does still use it though.

Link exchanges are probably one of the best ways to get ranked, but be careful. Exchange links with sites that are quality and above all, have related content with your site. There are theories that Google will actually penalize you for having too many links with sites that are not of the same topic as you. And you are definitely penalized for linking to sites that Google considers .......bad.

To just be blunt, this isn't true. Think about it, if it was, then everyone would just have links to Ebay, Amazon, Google and my personal site.........................
ok, I'm joking about my personal site, but I think you know what I mean.

I'm no expert, but I have done a little research and if there's one thing I've found out is you need to keep yourself informed. Google and other search engines are constantly changing how they work.

In my opinion, the 2 biggest things to concentrate on with SEO is good content and backlinks. If you can achieve this, then all other aspects of SEO will just need tweaking.

Here is a FAQ from Sitepoint.com that has some really good ideas.

actually, you're right on keywords thing, tho there other search bots yahoo teoma etc.

and about changing links, that's not needed to be a same topic site with yours, and any website can include your website, why would google penalize you? Suppose, a website including child porn including your link, then you get penalized by Google ? Nah , but if you include a bad website's link then you get penalizewd, since Google tries to kill the illegal links. There a s lil difference.

And man, including popular website links, of course helps you, cus when search engine come to crawl your website, it seeks for the external links, and if they are known like Adobe, yahoo, ebay etc. it don't spend time there to crawl on it, but if you have new links, it starts crawl it. when there are unknown links, google don't refer you, simple.

The reason I said include links like Adobe, was for when ppl need flash visiting your website, they should use your external links, this raises your page click number, simple ?

Thanks for correcting mate, there might be some points I ve forgotten to tell, thanks for spending time and reading =)

Cheers.

I think like you as well and another crucial thing that we should be avoid is about search engine's algorithm which alway change regularly especially by Google, some practices (that provide good SEO web-content and get backlinks) that work well today maybe not for tomorrow.

google now checks for keywords in the head tag. If there are sexual or illegal content like child porn animal porn etc. , or if there are same words repeated more than 5 times, it stops crawling the website.

You need to have a good and active content, you need to make little changes. The site should'not be dead.
