Does the Frihost database setup allow InnoDB? I know there isn't an option for it in the table creation menu of phpMyAdmin, but if I type "ALTER TABLE tablename TYPE=INNODB", will that work?
Thanks ahead of time,
Nope, No support for InnoDB on server 1.
Enabled Engines: MyISAM, MEMORY, BLACKHOLE, EXAMPLE, ARCHIVE, CSV, FEDERATED, MRG_MYISAM
Disabled Engines: InnoDB, BerkeleyDB, ndbcluster, ISAM
@Admin or Mod, Why is it that InnoDB is disabled? It's a pretty popular engine and it is what I use on my local development server... Does InnoDB have any security concerns?
it uses a lot of memory. Not sure though if that's the reason.
We should have it! It would make my life exactly 83.17001% easier!
It would make my life 0% easier cause I dunno how to use it
