Guitar Hero...
yes my friends.....A New Plague is spreading like wild fire,
turning average people into dellusional maniacs who think
they are Rock Stars. This mass phenomenom effects not
only the afflicted cariers, but in a backlash so catostrophic
it's almost unheard of, this plague is causing multiple problems:
More house work for me
My Beer getting drank before I get home
Restless nights of hearing the same ass songs over and over again
being yelled at to 'show my teeeets"
two people mosh pits creating head aches that I have to get meds for
oh yes, and there's the lack of intimate gratification -wink wink nudge nudge-
oh and so much more....
I enter into evidence...exhibits 1, 2, 3 and OMG
(NO, my TV should NOT be stacked on top of TWO end tables)
yeah...you should avoid exposure to this PLAGUE at all costs...
you have been warned

I'm immune - I can play a real guitar and would thus consider Guitar Hero lame.
I think Guitar Hero looks pretty fun, even though I've never played it.
I play regular guitar, and I love Guitar Hero.
My friend is also the same way...except he kind of obsesses over beating songs on Guitar Hero sometimes...but he's a much better guitar player too.

no, you made this statement and have thus outed yourself as a snob
I still prefer DDR. Rock Band is pretty fun, too.
lol, I'm completely addicted to this game. I can admit that.
i am atleast partially immune to this deadly deseise. i have gh3, and it is sucking up my life and making me think i'm a rockstar(though i'll sometimes play it for a few hours straight on a school day evening.
OMG
If you play real guitar oke, that makes a nice sound it's funny to watch ect...
But Guitar heor, come on, you can do better as that.
Push some buttons on the right time, how funny,..
Learn to play a real guitar and you'll have twice the fun you have now.
Just an advice but really, it fun playing an instrument.
Greetz
PS I play the saxophone lots of fun playing in a band you know, more as playing 2 player guitar hero.

Agree. Nothing can compare to actually playing an instrument and using your creativity (after all, that's what I think is funny about playing an instrument, expressing my creativity). Playing Guitar Hero doesn't express you're creativity at all... so the whole thing in playing an instrument is lost.

skip the no. I'm a snob guitarist, but I'm still immune. Ha.

Yep
But it's a game about it, I mean, playing Unreal Tournament doesn't have much in common with actually running around and killing people either
The point of Guitar Hero is instant gratification as well as being a video game. It is not comparable to an instrument in anyway, and anyone who feels the need to say that playing a guitar is much more rewarding is an idiot.
There is a difference between video games and other things, please realize this. Guitar Hero is not out to compete with real instruments, that's not the purpose. The point is to be a fun quick and easy game to play, nothing more, nothing less.

Is more of a game that should be comparable to an instrument...considering it takes Guitar Hero-esque gameplay and actually combines it with a guitar for learning purposes.
