Lewis Hamilton made a great start to the season with his win last Sunday in Melbourne.
I sure hope he wins it this year after coming so close in 2007.
Three different teams on the podium, just seven cars running at the finish and not a red one in sight
Not one of the 6 Ferrari engined cars even finished the race so McClaren are way ahead also.
I couldn't believe it when Kimi Räikkönen, the current world champion, ran off the track twice, but it sure was entertaining.
Sure it was very interesting. Maybe the new rules, maybe the destiny, but this race was incredible. Let's see if the season continues this way. Many emotions awaits!
Unfortunately, Fernando Alonso wont fight this year for the championship, Renault dont have a competitive car, and they need to improve a lot...the season is long, but i think Raikonnen and Hamilton will be the final winners...and maybe Kubica will have a chance
This sencond race was more "normal", almost all the cars finished the GP.
I think this year the championship will be nicer, BMW has a competitive car, and Toyota (Trulli finished in fourth last race) maybe has surprises along the year.
Concerning the champion, probably McLaren or Ferrari will win, tough.
I'm from Poland and it's normal that I supports Robert Kubica. In last season he hadn't good car and he couldn't show, what he able. I think in this season he will occupy on dais. Maybe in next seasons he will lead in Ferrari
I hope that Nico Rosberg does well ... I support Williams.
I think it is wide open. There have only been a couple of races, and Hamilton and Raikkonen are looking strong, but so are a load of other drivers, who to be honest i never would have expected to be looking so good. I think either Hamilton or Raikkonen will take it, but it would be nice if someone else did, just to make it a bit more interesting.
And here's hoping it goes down to the last race like last year. But we will have to see.
Bring on Bahrain.
Hope Hamilton does well today.
He is 3rd on the grid ahead of Räikkönen so he has a good chance to finish right up there hopefully in 1st.
Should be a really interesting race.

Not today, not today
Nice race, but there wasn't many overtakings. Great work for Massa, after dissapointing weekend in Australia & Malaysia (especially in Malaysia
), great work for BMW's (especially for Kubica). Well done for Alonso for eliminating Hamilton (joke
), hope it wasn't intentionally
Can't wait for next races. Will BMW keep good pace? (2nd force in F1 now).
Hamilton was really unlucky that he stuffed into the back of Alonso (foul play maybe
) but he did have a really bad start, i mean he was down to 10th place BEFORE he crashed, no way could he have challenged the frontrunners from there.
Nice to see BMW challenging Ferrari all the way through, and a BMW 3-4 is great, especially since Ferrari were so quick throughout. And, BMW are now top in the contructors (if only by just one point), and there are now at least 6 people i'd say looking at winning the championship, much more interesting than last year.
Massa finally showed he can drive ater a disastrous start to the season. He competely dominated during the race, and in most of qualifying, Kubica just managed to squeeze in an amazing lap at the end.
Overall, i'm gonna have to put my money on Raikkonen for the championship, he just seems the most consistent driver out there, and Hamilton just isn't looking on form at the moment, and will have to push for some more wins soon or he'll be left behind.
The next world champ will be Felipe Massa from Brazil... At least I hope so...
Here we are waiting for a long time after we lost the genius Senna, and after others greats like Piquet ( the father ) and Fitipaldi...
Two first racers he was bad, but now, in the last sunday he won...
Go Massa you are the guy...

I think that Massa is consider as a number 2 in the team and it is very hard to win the title if you are the number 2 in your team, that's why for instance Alonso changed team.
I think that if Raikkonen races ahead of Massa in the championship, with Massa having little to no chance of winning, Ferrari will tell Massa to let Raikkonen through, just as it used to be with Schumacher.
This does seem unfair, but hey that's Formula One.
In the last race (Bahrain) everyone saw what kind of newbie is Lewis. He can't manage the pressure, just remember China and Brazil last year. Now, without TC, he's still driving too agresive and he makes a lot of mistakes. Kovalainen is a better driver in my opinion. Now that he's on McLaren, he can show his talent.
this year i am gonna cheer for indian team .......... vijay mallaya''ssss team
with indian driver in the team..........hahaha
i am fan of Ferrari the best team ever on F1, i like Hamilton, but i am with ferrari, Kimmi was not my Favorite, but is on ferrari and i will cheers for him, since massa is a good driver, but have not the touch he made mistakes often, in that way he lose opotunity to win the championship
Everybody there is right about the Massa´s difficults...
But the best way to get famous and your respect is by winning all the difficults and when everybody dont believe you, you show how to do it...
Well, lets wait, lets see...
Go Massa... hehe
Such a great race in Barcelona this year. I would have been surprised if Raikkonen hadn't have won starting from pole, especially after his amazing qualifying, and it was hardly surprising to see another Ferrari 1-2.
The most surprising team for me has to be Renault. Considering their rather dismal performance so far, i did not expect a Renault to be on the front row of the grid, and it looked like Alonso was going to finish in the top 8 (until he crashed).
Most interesting part of the race has to have been Kovalainen's crash into the tyre wall. Looking at the damage to the car, i was surpised to hear he'd be racing in Istanbul.
And being British i suppose i'd better mention Hamilton. Looked rather slow in the first part of the race, and if it hadn't have been for the safety car i think he could have finsihed fourth, especially seeing as Kubica was within 3 seconds of Hamilton nearly the whole race.
Massa is the number 2 in the team. Then to win he would need to be much better than Raikkonen because he has a disadvantage even before starting.
And as he is not much better he has in my opinion no chance of winning the Championship at all. (but of course I might be wrong).
Maybe if one day he becomes number one in a good team he would have chances but not now
ok, here i am again...
Well, first of all, congratulation to ??? to Massa, right? hehe... Two wins in the two last races. Thats was great...
Of course, I dont have any answer to the championship´s final results, but im waiting for I new champion there, and my favorite start winning...
I really respect your tecniques opinios and im sure some of you knows more and more about F1 than me but why is Massa my favorite?
There is a passion, a hope and a waiting of almost 20years of the brazilians behind the eyes of Massa, thats my answer...
Lets see next race...
Go Massa

i think the passion is his problem, remember Piquet ans Senna was so passionated, but at the same time was cool, and massa have history about losing his mind.
i cheers for Ferrari but i like Hamilton, but i think Raikonen is the solid one for the champ, just because he is an iceberg (i mean cold and big talent) and if kimmi is on the path he knows that 2 races dont mean the champ he knows the rigth value of every race.
i miss drivers like senna, and Vileneve (gilles not Jaques) that gives everything at any race
Hey Mazito,
good talk to you...
Did you see what Raikonen, the cold one, did yesterday? ( monaco race) not good for who should be a champ, hum?
About what you said, you are right, the passion, some times may be a problem, and senna, piquet and others knews how to control it... Now massa is growing up fast, and what he is doing this seasson is showing us, or at least for who want see it...
Go Massa, we trust you are the guy...
Monaco was easily the best race so far this year. Races like that are the reason you warch formula one. The rain brought out so much excitement, crashing from some of the best drivers, over-taking by some of the midfield drivers, just a brilliant race.
Great driving from Hamilton, a first place at his favourite circuit which put him right back into the game and now leading the wolrd championship. Also a great drive from Massa, just couldn't keep up with Hamilton or Kubica, who finished in a deserving second.
Raikkonnen. Bad race, he was all over the place, just didn't have control over his car. Now joint second in the world championship, could easily fall behind Massa.
Person i felt most sorry for was Adrian Sutil. A brilliant drive all race, had fastest lap several times, looked like he was going to finish in fourth when Raikkonen crashed into him and he was out, bad luck for him and Force India. But that is the harshness of Formula One.
I told you i believe in Felipe Massa... now he is the leader of the championship... keep going Massa we trust you are the next champion...
Kubica has got big chance this season. In the last one, he had very poor car, but now BMW exerted thamselves a bit and their cars are pretty good. But only one thing is sure - it will be tough fight.

Hmm, i don't know. I feel that the only reason Massa won was because of luck, which is kind of the same with Kubica. I think it will come down to skill, which means either Raikkonnen or Hamilton, maybe Massa as well, possibly Kubica if he wins a few more races.
At this point it is hard to tell who will win. So much has already gone on in this season, it seems to impossible to judge what will happen in the future.
ok, ok... Let´s talk serious... I dont believe "lucky" is the right word here... They are very good and work very hard, and more, they "Massa and Kubica" showed enough for we dont call it by "lucky"....
but anyway, let´s keep watching and we´ll see Massa wins...
Of course I know Raikkonnen is great but I am brazilian, I'm Massa and I'm not crazy...
One last thing about the lucky subject... I think we are the real lucky guys here, because this season is great for those who are watching...
last year was good at the end when Hamilton lost the control and waste the champ that he has in hands
but this year is very good, the battle is good for the sport, i like Ferrari but one car ahead of others was not fun, now is time to remember the times when pilots earn champs is back
ok about "lucky" thing ... they are simply The Essen’s - All drivers racing in F1 - The best from The best, and let’s keep it this way.
Driver is not enough to win race but talking in this state of "abstraction" as any race at all drivers need massive amount of luck, witch one have more decide about win. Lack of luck can affect in instance with tire blown, or other ....
I‘d prefer like Kimi Raikkonen
Go kim i believe he wins the this season
