i wrote this scripts in flash in which text is written like it is being typed but i don't know how to code the blinking cursor that is at the end of when you type something...how do i do that?

I can't see your script. Isn't it best to use an textfield that is in flash instead of doing your own. Maybe there is something that you try to do but it's hard to help if we don't have any more information.
