extension=php_pdo_mysql.dll

Could the adminstrator or moderator please enable (uncomment) the line

;extension=php_pdo_mysql.dll

in php.ini, in server 1, so I can use:

new PDO(mysql:host, user, pass);
to acess my MySQL database from my website using PDO.

if not, could some one give me another solution that works fine here in frihost (better if it uses PDO...).

Thanks.
rvec
from the phpinfo:
Quote:
PDO support enabled
PDO drivers sqlite2, sqlite

If you need more you need Bondings but I don't think he'll enable it for you. Most of the time he has a reason for disabling something Razz .
rvbarreto
I believe he just don't enable it, because there is no need... now, there is a need Very Happy

I'll try it.

But, if I can't, wich will be best way to acess the database, using PDO or not?
rvec
i'll ask bondings to take a look at this topic.

If he doesn't allow it I don't think you have a lot of choice Razz you just won't be able to use PDO on mysql.
