Hi all,
I have read through a lot of docs, forums etc., but have not been able to solve a problem I am having.
I am using Eclipse IDE, and I wish to assign my own action to the F10 key in Eclipse; but it keeps popping up the 'File' menu (left-most menu item). I have found a lot of docs on how to disable F10 in gnome-terminal; I wish to do the same for the Eclipse IDE too.
I read through the docs of the GConf, and it seems that it is completely upto the developer of the app to determine if she wishes to disable the standard key-bindings for her app. In case of gnome-terminal, the developer seems to have given the user an option to disable F10; this is because the terminal is specifically designed for Gnome.
But thats not the case for Eclipse. It is not customized for Gnome environment. I need to disable F10 somehow, even if that means it stops working in every other app.
Can somebody help here?
Best regards,
Gurjeet.
