CNAME changing allowed in Cpanel??

Friends, I need to change my CNAME value... But the same isn't available in the Cpanel Frontend....
but I just saw a demo of DirectAdmin... DirectAdmin seems to allow the same...

My question is : How do I change CNAME in my hosting account which is hosted in Server 1 with CPANEL...

I'll assume you are talking about your .frihost.net subdomain (because if it's not, you probably are able to change CNAME records in your domain control panel), in which case CNAME value changes are not allowed to users (or any direct DNS action).

You simply place a request in your Account Page for a Subdomain change request and it will be handled by the staff.

If this is not what you meant, please explain further on what you need, I'll try and give you an answer.

yes Bockman, you are right... My site is hosted on Server 1 (frihost.net)...

I've already given to change my sub domain name.... i.e. from jcnet to josephcs...
But could you please help me in changing to server 2 (DirectAdmin)...

is there any disadvantage in DirectAdmin, (when compared to cPanel)??? like sendmail ,etc??
Will there be any disadvantage?

Sorry, but we do not allow moving between servers.

Currently only VPS1 is open for new accounts, so cPanel is the only choice.
