I got an experience with the installation of alcohol 120% with my vista home basic. at 1st it got show a warning that the software are not been truth. but i ignore it,what i get is when restart i having a blue screen and looping all again and again..lucky i manage to recover it by trying many time to repair it without reformat. so hope that you guys remember to make sure the software are suitable for the kind of OS your have.now even the alcohol have the new version, after that experience i quit using it
Dont install a old version of alcohol 120% in your vista
