Your simple smile
and pretty face
is all that fills my head

what have i done
to deserve such grace?
to have my loneliness struck dead!

you're all i've ever wanted
i'll never let you go

i know you're heard these words before
but mine are from the soul

i know i'm just a simple man
when i speak don't laugh
i can't offer you gold or glory
