can a 30 old guy (non programmer) learn .net and make it a career?
.net
maybe. it's not that hard anyway.
If the mind is set up I think anyone can do anything. The same about languages, easier when you are a child but everyone can learn a new language when they get older, I have to learn two new ones.
But .Net is an easy language and is popular, there are lot of people with .Net programming experience... You'll face a lot of competition, But there are always openings for people with problem solving talent.. In short, Yes, you can make your career, but you need to work hard to distinguish yourself from the other young .net programmers.
It'll be even easier if you've had previous programming experience!
maybe. i think
