Sorry for the late reply. At the moment I'm very busy with getting many visitors to this site and other stuff I have to do. The server load is really low (most of the time 0), so we don't need any php acceleration in the near future. But when we host more people, we might install it!  lupa
Maybe this hosting do not support zend

I will try to install the Zend Optimiser whenever I have some time, but I can't guarantee anything.
To see what is installed on the server, you can always run the following php-command. <?php phpinfo(); ?> tricker

First of all, thx Site Admin for the tip of using <?php phpinfo(); ?> to check whether php components are installed.
Also, I don't understand why u can't do without Zend; is there somethg to do with security features Zend provided?
